Course Description:

This course is designed to enhance basic operational skills and marksmanship abilities of the individual SWAT officer. During this course the student will be evaluated and challenged through scenario based learning. Subjects covered during this course will elevate the operational ability of the individual officer. Students will be introduced to 'active shooter' response tactics, linear targets, as well as hostage involved entry techniques.
(Understanding a full spectrum course takes 6 weeks of training)

Course Objectives:

The purpose of this course is to:

• Enhance the skill set and  tactical base level
• Conduct advanced marksmanship training and qualification
• Conduct rapid response planning and execution operations
• Familiarization with hostage involved entry
• Become familiar with modernized employment techniques
• Introduction to ballistic breaching / Diversionary tactics
• Weapons retention / Close quarter defensive tactics

Course Length: Five days (60) hrs - Customized curriculum available

Prerequisite: Law Enforcement ONLY (Contracted Government Employees accepted, ie: DOD, State Dept, etc...)

Type of Instruction: Classroom, field / range and practical application

Recommended Class Size: 12 - 24 personnel
