Course Description:

This course is designed to refine and test basic sniper skills as well as field craft. During this course the student will be evaluated and challenged through scenario based learning. In-depth employment techniques will be the center of focus as the key learning objective for this course. Additionally, there will be considerable practical application shooting from ground, and building platforms utilizing improvised positions. Special emphasis will be placed on covert hide positions and tactical movement to the crisis site.  (Understanding a full spectrum course takes 6 weeks of training).

Course Objectives:

The purpose of this course is to:

• Strengthen and build on individual SNIPER marksmanship and field skills through ADVANCED techniques.
• Develop Counter Terrorism / SWAT Team integration techniques
• Improve the ability to conduct multiple target engagement
• Refine and further develop LE - SNIPER mission essential skills
• Conduct numerous tactical decision based exercises
• Become familiar with advanced modernized employment techniques
  

Course Length: Four days (40) hrs - Customized curriculum available

Prerequisite: Completion of Basic 100LE, or equivalent experience

Type of Instruction: Classroom, field / range and practical application

Recommended Class Size: 8 - 24 personnel
